Like so many petrol-heads, getting into track days has involved buying and modifying cars.  As my enjoyment (and speed!) on circuit increased, then inevitably so did the compromises,..and not just to the on-road usability of the car.  Trips home with the AA, complex logistics and trailering, insufficiently prepared cars, aborted days with a broken car; basically distractions from having fun on circuit.  

Things changed when I decided to get Tfl to run my track day car for me.  Now I can just arrive at the circuit knowing that Tfl have taken care of everything and my car is going to be waiting in the pit garage, fully-prep’d, ready to go.  It’s way more than ‘arrive and drive’ though, Tfl is more like a track day club.  The Tfl pit-garage is always where the fun is at a trackday, it’s where the tea, biscuits and banter are free-flowing!  Everyone takes the driving seriously though and my pace has been transformed by sharing the circuit/garage with other Tfl customers and having the car run professionally.  As Phill at Tfl says it really is #trackdaysevolved, it takes it to the next level and removes all of those distraction and compromises.
